Brimming with charm, Chiddy Nook was originally the Coach House to the main establishment, Warren House, so low beamed ceilings and quirky features abound in this much-loved holiday home.
Gingerbread Cottage
Gingerbread Cottage sleeps up to 3 and you can see much of the same 'Chiddy Nook' charm here too. You'll love the many character features including exposed beams and window seats.
The Burrow
The Burrow in the Warren is a beautiful, thatched, stone-built self catering cottage, situated in Chideock near Bridport, in West Dorset. Sleeping 4 people.

If you are a Broadchurch follower you will recognise that nearby West Bay is Broadchurch, with the distinctive east cliffs and other stunning locations where the recent hit TV show was filmed.

All that said, a lovely, peaceful week away in a beautiful Dorset cottage. 😀 - On the plus side, completely faultless and well maintained property. Immaculately clean and tidy and well appointed with everything you might need. Very comfortable bed, easy to use heating and hot water system, great welcome from Jane on arrival and on hand if needed. Fabulously pet friendly too. Good parking is located a short walk from the cottage. Excellent internet access on lower floors, patchy though upstairs. 😞 - However, when booking, be mindful of the 21 stairs from lounge on ground floor to bedroom on third floor and that the property is set across multi-levels. The real issue for us was the lack of full services on the smart TV. BBC iPlayer and Amazon Prime were OK as were the terrestrial channels, however Netflix was a nightmare and would not function at all. We gave up and there was no access available to ITV, C4 and C5 catch up facilities, which was very frustrating. Footnote: After bringing this to Jane's attention after leaving she has written back to say the TV was apparently not compatible with netflix, she discovered after getting someone yo look at it, and a new TV has been ordered.

We have had the most wonderful time at Chiddy Nook. The cottage is gorgeous, spotless and has everything you need and the gardens are just lovely. Perfect location to get to many attractions. The Anchor Inn was amazing. Burrow Farm Gardens, which was recommended by Jane, and is about twenty minutes away, is definitely worth a visit. A lovely week and will definitely be back. Thank you Jane!

First visit to Dorset and wasn’t disappointed. Lovely area with great local food. The cottage was fantastic, just as described, very clean, comfy beds and lovely garden. Jane was a great host, very helpful and had lots of local knowledge about places to eat, all of which were fantastic. Local pubs/beach with walking distance plus a farm shop up the road. Would definitely recommend and visit again.
