Lovely cottage in idyllic village. The setting was perfect - an easy walk to the Anchor pub right on the beach where we enjoyed watching the moon rise over the sea and eating some really good food.

We really enjoyed our stay at Gingerbread Cottage and it was a great base for exploring the local area. Jane was a great host- helpful and responsive. Seatown beach was the highlight of our stay and it was great to be a lovely walk away. The travel cot at the cottage was on the small side so if you are travelling with older babies or toddlers then I would recommend taking your own.Thank you Jane for a lovely stay!

😀 - We loved our 4 night stay at Chiddy Nook cottage. A really handy location for exploring the Jurassic coast. We settled into the gentle pace of Dorset and it was just what we needed. We would highly recommend. Having such a beautiful beach only a 15 minute walk away was bliss.

The heating was an initial problem as there were no instructions on how to use the radiator and it was very cold with tops of 11 degrees . Once Jane explained how to operate the radiator the cottage felt warm. The electrical appliances were new and worked well. The bed was rather lumpy.
